Well... first indication is that -X 6 is not so good on this one particular
choral piece, but it'll have to wait until tonight when I can do some more
serious tests across a variety of genres. --noshort still makes the best
improvement, but then it is an immensely complex and incoherent mass of sound
that the choir produces, with virtually no transients.
Only my ears' opinion, of course.
