Thank all of you guys for your ideas and help,

The reason that i want to split a mp3 into parts is , I am considering of a
new format based on mp3 format

I introduce the new format as follows:

- You know most of songs have repeating parts that we can hear lots of times
along the song
I say that why don't we save these parts once and give every part a name
and call them (while playback)
   when they need to be?
If we made a special editor for editing a mp3, (Goldwave like interface)
that way we can find out the repeatings and split the song into parts
For example if we analyze a song and get 4 seperate parts named 1,2,3,4
we can determine a playing sequence like : 1-2-3-1-2-3-4........

That way we have the same quality of song wit a smaller filesize
Maybe we can get a 3.5 MB mp3 into 1 MB new format file without any lose
in quality,originality,etc.

- The new format should have a header that contains file type, etc
 and plus a sequence data
The sequence data will consist of numbers(names) of parts

The rest of the file should be the parts containing the number(name) at the
beginnings

-This scheme is much like MOD format except MOD contains notes as I
know, this format will contain only the order of parts to be played

-This format may not be applied to all songs efficently but It will work
great for the songs containg a lot of repeating parts

-We should have two programs :player and editor .The playing procedure is
simple but the editor needs some work

-Maybe we can call this format Partial MP3 as it splits MP3 into parts and
give it an extension as " .PM3 "

-This format will be very cool for game programmers who can have long and
high quality songs with smaller disk space for their games.

So what do you think of it,tell me? (I need feedback)
Is it a sensible approach?
Or someone else has already implemented it , I am not aware?
