That should have only been available from CVS. The latest
strategy which I try to follow is:
lame3.81 beta released
lame3.82 alpha this code is what you get from CVS right now
which is continuously changing. (Dmitry's versions
have a date stamp?)
lame3.82 beta the next release, whatever that may be.
So as soon as 3.81beta was released, the CVS repository was
updated to 3.82alpha.
This system just kind of evolved this way and is somewhat error
prone since it is a lot of things to update by hand. If someone
has a better idea let me know.
