I added some documentation for the new VBR mode and ABR mode on the GPSYCHO section of the web pages: www.sulaco.org/mp3/gpsycho/gpsycho.html This is a first draft of a detailed explination of the algorithm and a flow chart of the code. Once we have the bugs and tunings fixed, this new VBR code really should produce similar results to the old VBR code, but much faster, and with some bit savings. btw, those of you with CVS write access: please feel free to help with the web pages :-) Send me email if you need to know how to access them.
