I wrote on my site that the new VBR is best not used for archiving,
because of the many bugs.  I'm always up to some listening/tweaking
tests etc, but no-one here seems to respond to some remarks. I wish I
was able myself to change the code, but I admit this kind of brainwork
is somewhat out of my leage at the moment.

Anyone have a remark to that 'qadjust' variable issue? thanks
