        Wow, I didn't know this feature. I've just tested it but it
doesn't seem to improve performance :-?

        By the way, I don't think it does much actually, because the first
'#' is the line CC_SWITCCH instead of CC_SWITCHES (at least in LAME 3.85),
so you should fix this if it's not in the CVS version :)
