Some time ago, i have downloaded the "LAME ACM Codec 0.90" from http://homepage1.nifty.com/warlock/
This link seems broken, though. I can send it to who would like to experiment with it. I can give no help because I was unable to have it working. For the required usage, I tried : "LAME MPEG Layer III Audio Encoder 2001, (c) 2000 Marie Orlova, Peter Gubanov, Elecard Ltd." http://www.elecard.com And it worked fine for me, until I use an other (better) method to use the LAME.EXE program with virtualdub, but this is another story. You may find much help at : www.doom9.org I wish you all a merry Xmas and a better new year 2002 Greetings from Belgium Michel Comblen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Taylor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, December 15, 2001 10:27 PM Subject: Re: [MP3 ENCODER] ACM for Lame > > > > A while ago there were a few posts on the subject of an ACM for lame. > > > > Was anything ever the result of this (ie: was one developed) ? > > > > The reason why one would be useful is for programs that only allow > > use of ACMs for audio compression (eg: VirtualDub) and have no > > facility for using an exe or dll. > > > > Owen. > > > > I've seen people mention an ACM codec based on LAME, maybe from > Japan? but I've never seen the actual file, and no one > has ever contacted us about making it part of the official distribution. > > Mark > > _______________________________________________ > mp3encoder mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://minnie.tuhs.org/mailman/listinfo/mp3encoder > _______________________________________________ mp3encoder mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://minnie.tuhs.org/mailman/listinfo/mp3encoder
