If anybody is interrested in making a new ACM wrapper of lame, I can give out the sources of a project I started some months ago to do that but never finished it.
I don't even remember where I stopped (probably in the middle of calling Lame with the right parameters). But I can help on the developement too (even though I'm busy on other things). For info, I stopped because I made an output plugin based on Lame for Winamp using lame_enc.dll.
