Why?
It's good for new clean audio CD, but when CD is not in perfect condition (scratches), you can hear some pops and another artifacts. On windows platform you don't have any other good alternative than EAC.
CDDB (or another DB) you can use later with some tagger (Helium, Tag&rename,....)
