Thanks for addressing this issue Per. If this is a matter of playing an MP3 while downloading it, I can't seem to configure my IE v5.5 to do it by merely clicking on the .mp3 link. The info on Nullsoft's Shoutcast indicates that the IE popup should have the "Open this file from its current position" option enabled:
. http://www.shoutcast.com/download/listener.phtml#browser After doing that, Winamp is supposed to pop up to play files not only with playlist extensions, but files with the .mp3 extension. As I pointed out, if I copy and paste the .mp3 URL to WinAmp's 'Play > Open location' menu window, the file will in fact play. This whether or not it's downloading the file to save at the same time... I don't know. It's not a huge issue now that I have the work-around of copying the URL. But it's always nice to eliminate as many steps as possible when working with computers.
