Hello Matthew,
How would that id3lib thing work? I see that it is some sort of library, but do you have any idea how I might make use of it using Rexx to call its functions?
I'd also like to be able to determine the length (duration) of a given MP3, so that if an MP3 exceeds a given duration, then I can have my Rexx script print out a message warning me.
I'm working in Windows XP Pro and using Regina Rexx, if that helps at all.
Thanks,
Mark Worden

The following work okay for me...
id3ed (ID3v1 only): http://www.dakotacom.net/~donut/programs/id3ed_f.html
id3convert, id3cp, id3info, id3tag (ID3v1 and 2, but can't decode Genre numbers): http://id3lib.sourceforge.net/ -- Matthew Miller <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "We should not tolerate elitism.
