Try it one or two more times. If it only hangs occasionally, it's due
to a known problem while downloading microcode. You only have to do
this once per boot, so this isn't as horrible a problem as it first
appears. (Annoying, tho'...)

There are 4 other devices sharing the IRQ that my BMK board is using: my
USB, Ethernet, and RAID controllers, plus a multi-port MPEG decoder
card. In other words, everything of consequence in the machine. :)
