May I post my personal views on the non-Mpls political threads. Every
senator and every representative has the potential to sponsor, work hard
for, and inveigle passage of legislation inimical to the interests of
Mpls residents. Remember the outstate legislators that got measures
passed that bypassed local efforts to forestall the Konderitor. Remember
the same respecting a Mpls baseball stadium. Remember.... Remember....
Are these remembrances reason enough to bring up things like a Runbeck.
My point seem to be that so long as we Mpls people choose to live in
isolation we shall be sandbagged time after time.
Do we need rules - yes, otherwise the good stuff gets drowned out by
garbage. The question should be what rules do we need so that legitimate
discourse can proceed. The age of eye blinders passed with the decline
of the horse carriage.
End of rant.
