Were you at the meeting, Wizard?  Brian was not at this meeting, and I
don't recall you being at this meeting.  I was rather astounded to hear
this in the testimony.

Actually I asked Brian about his position on the Stadium, and he told me in
a phone conversation that he opposed public subsidies for a Stadium.
Imagine my surprise when I read a different description of his position in
the Star Tribune.

What I saw was alot of folks playing all kinds of games.  People on both
sides were very angry....  And there was lots of racial demogogery.  

When Brian Heron worked as a SAFE officer in our community, I thought he
was fantastic at the job.  I've been less happy with his performance as a
City Council Rep.  And from the sounds of it, the Stonewall DFL process
used for the mayor's race was the same as the process used for the ward 8
race.
