One of the things that's very interesting in this discussion, is that there
is concern, naturally, about whether or not the route is 38th. However, I
haven't seen anything that takes into consideration the difficulty that
people in the Linden Hills area would have trying to get to 35W. Right now,
the most direct route available is to go Richfield Road right on to West 36th
St. If the access were to be changed, all those drivers would have to go to
West 36 St. and then go two blocks south to get to West 38 to get to the
freeway. I am wondering if anyone from MnDOT at the meeting gave any figures
as to how many people from this area would have to be redirected?
