take on the hotel (which also took gratuitous swipes at David Piehl and
Walt Gutzmer for being "racists") is useful information. Personally, I
think it would be great if Basim Sabri would participate in this forum.

on this list. And I think the paragraph above is civil. It's just
restating facts as I understand them.

I'm willing to take responsibility for what I say, and I'll correct myself
on list, if I find future information which negates something I've said
previously.

I didn't say Basim had "sinister intentions". My point with my post, (and
I should have made it more clear) was to say that obviously, posts on this
list get noticed and read by city leaders, and those going before city
leaders for Zoning waivers (as it sounds like Basim is), and this reflects
well on Minneapolis issues. From the posting by David Brauer, I thought
that Basim Sabri had sent the post to David B, requesting that he forward
it to this list. I didn't understand that David W had any role in any of
this until he mentioned it on list.
