Kris Brogan, policy aide for Mayor Sayles Belton and a Ward 9 resident,
asked me to share the following story with list members:
Recently, one of Kris' family members saw a driver throw a fast food bag out
of the window of his car at a stop light in South Minneapolis. The driver in
the car behind this car got out of her car and picked up the bag. At the
next light, she got out of her car and threw the bag on top of the car of
the driver who had thrown the garbage in the street. That driver jumped out
of his car and yelled at her for throwing garbage on his car. To which she
responded, "It's your garbage, now pick it up!"
Kris is not recommending that others follow suit, but she thought this was a
great story to add to the current "dirty city" thread.
