I cannot remember if I read anything about this on the list. If so, I
apologize for being redundant. However, I know that the folks who post here
have no shortage of opinions. So, here is another chance to express them.
>From the Charter Commission:
The Minneapolis Charter Commission is asking for your input on the structure
of City government. They are currently reviewing the Charter to determine if
changes can be made to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of City
Hall.
The Charter Commission has prepared an informal survey addressing issues
including the form of government in the City of Minneapolis, the role of the
Mayor and City Council, the composition of the City Council, and the status
of independent boards. After reviewing all surveys returned, the Charter
Commission will determine if Charter amendments should be put before the
voters.
The Charter Commission would appreciate hearing any comments and ideas you
may have to improve the City of Minneapolis. Please take the time to print
out and complete the survey
