It probably is somewhat utopian but at least partly in the relm of
possiblity.  One example is increasing possiblities of electronic
publishing.  One form--the Web and email has already made it easier for
more people to express their opinions.  The Library's computer labs could
include web publishing software and the classes could include classes on
web publishing.

There is an autitorium planned.  The new library auditorium is planned for
300 seats.  (current library auditorium has 450 seets).  According to
staff, this better reflects the size of groups that want to use the
auditorum.  In addition, two meeting rooms--one 40 seat and one 80 seat
will be by the auditorium.  A small kitchen facility for use with these
public meeting areas is also planned.
