I won't rehash the whole voting debacle that occurred in Ventura Village last month, most of you remember the story... But here's an update: I FINALLY was able to speak at length with Representative Karen Clark's office about the statutes (supposedly) cited by Bob Miller as confirming VVs lack of compliance... They confirmed my (and others) assertion that there is nothing in the law requiring thirty days of membership to precede voting priveleges. NOTHING! The law allows for such a practice, should our VV bylaws call for it, but they DO NOT. So what now, I wonder?
