It was a "vox populi, vox dei" moment. Loosely translated: never make a rule
you can't enforce.

You may recall that Stonewall DFL backed away from blackballing Lisa and RT
but then banished a number of otherwise promising/acceptable council
candidates on the stated ground of disloyalty to the endorsement process.

Having municipal year caucuses will bring much needed rain to this arid
ethical ground.

I would just like to say thank you to all the list members who kept those of
us who didn't attend the DFL City Convention on Saturday up to date.
Certainly there were surprises.  Usually the DFL casts out anyone who says
he/she will not abide by the endorsement and there was RT leading on the
last
ballot taken....
