I basically agree with Basim on the graffitti issue - it is rarely, if ever
perpetrated on property owned by the perpetrators, and as such is destruction of
either private or public property, regardless of any sort of "artistic
expression" that it may also embody. Graffitti is one of those crimes that
needs to be taken a whole lot more seriously than it is, unfortunatly it has not
been considered a priority by public officials or for law enforcement.
On the other hand, I'm not sure why eliminating the SAFE program would be
helpful. Granted there are a lot of ways SAFE could be more effective, but they
perform a valuable service.
Does the suggestion to eliminate SAFE have anything to do with your lawsuit
against SAFE, Basim?
