A correction on my part: the Reader Rep said that he
would bring it up to his editors to see if it could be
corrected/clarified, OR he would use it in his column
within the next two Sundays.
And while Mr. Brandt may know the composition of the
Board of Estimate and Taxation, I doubt the majority
of the readership of his paper do. I only know that I
get a chance to endorse and vote for two members every
four years, and I consider myself to be fairly well
informed on city government and politics.
That Jo Mattson ran for and was elected to city wide
office several times between 79 and 93 would seem to
be one of the resume points the Mayor's campaign noted
when she was hired. It would seem reasonable for
yesterday's article to have mentioned it.
