This law should be unconstitutional. Under the First Amendment, I doubt
seriously if this law can be enforced if challenged. Political speech like
lawn signs should receive a higher level of protection than other forms of
advertising that can be regulated under First Amendment law. Maybe we
should ask Randy Tigue, who is a local member of the national First
Amendment Lawyers Association for an opinion.
