Well, folks -- hope we have a turn out, rain or shine, I'll be there. I probably won't be staying for the whole time, but I'll be there at 6:30 with a bunch of balloons -- so look for the balloons -- I'll try to get purple -- seems to me that's the color we've used before, but if that isn't a color I can get, just look for a bunch of balloons and head for it, okay? I'm hoping in this election year that you politicians and public officials be showing up to press the flesh and talk to the list denizens -- and there is a guaranteed crowd because there will be music later on in the park -- don't forget to bring a dish to pass -- looks like we are going to have nice summer weather too -- PLACE: STEVENS SQUARE PARK Stevens Square Park is located between Stevens and Second Avenue and 18th and 19th Streets in South Minneapolis near downtown. There is on-street parking on all the streets surrounding the park. DATE: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27th TIME: 6:30 - 9:30 PM POTLUCK: BRING A DISH TO PASS Look for the balloons and a bunch of public policy wonks and you'll have located the Minneapolis Issues List. I'll provide paper plates, platic forks and a cooler with ice so you can also bring a few cans of Diet Coke or whatever with you for a beverage. We're in luck because that night at Steven's Square Park, there will be background music for about an hour starting at 8:00pm (Baby Grant Johnson, Blues,) and a movie starts at dusk (about 9:00pm, Fantasia 2000).
