The Minneapolis/5th District Green Party is pleased to announce that our 
endorsed candidates for this year's election cycle will be available to meet 
with the press and the public from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16th, Room 
220 in City Hall. This event is timed to coincide with the filing period 
deadline, and candidates will arrive after they have officially completed the 
filing process.

We invite everyone to come hear our candidates articulate their vision for a 
green future for Minneapolis. 

Green Party endorsed candidates for Minneapolis City offices are: Cam Gordon, 
City Council Ward 2; Brother Shane Price, City Council Ward 3; Natalie 
Johnson Lee, City Council Ward 5; Dean Zimmermann, City Council Ward 6; Mark 
Knapp, City Council Ward 10; Scott Vreeland, Park Commissioner District 3; 
Frannie Dassier, Park Commissioner District 6; Annie Young, Park Commissioner 
At Large; Freeman Wicklund, School Board; and Frank Zaragoza, School Board.

Our candidates look forward to spreading the Green Party's message of 
government based on Ecological Wisdom, Social and Economic Justice, 
Nonviolence, and Grassroots Democracy from now until Election Day. The Green 
revolution is officially underway in Minneapolis, and all are welcome aboard! 
We look forward to seeing everyone on July 16th
and to a spirited, issues-based campaign in all of our election contests 
throughout the city.
