Tim Bonham sez:
        Once again, Stonewall DFL did NOT, and does not ever, find anyone
"unacceptable". We made absolutely no statement at all about these
candidates. The GLBT people & friends who make up StonewallDFL have been
told that their "lifestyles" and even their very existence are unacceptable
so many times that we certainly won't do this kind of name-calling toward
others!
==============================================================
EY: As I understand it, Stonewall gives endorsements and "acceptable"
ratings to candidates. Both Walt Gutzmer and Robert Lilligren didn't rate
acceptable -- on the basis of a question regarding abiding by DFL
endorsement -- which is not an issue that relates to what I understand to
be Stonewall's focus -- that is GLBT issues. If someone doesn't rate as
acceptable -- I would interpret that as a group saying someone is
unacceptable -- but Stonewall DFL didn't call Gutzmer and Lilligren
unacceptable directly -- but they did not find them acceptable. So this is
a bit of semantics.

Tim continues:
I'm sending this message as information to the people on this list. I have
given up on getting this through to Eva! I and others have responded to
her messages on this list, and have spoken with her personally about this,
but she persists in repeating this lie. I just hope others aren't fooled
by her lie.

=========================
EY: Tim and others in Stonewall DFL have not raised this point to me
privately on email or in person. When I have seen Tim at public settings,
we have generally bantered about the Dems vs the Republicans -- and it's
all been good natured bantering.
