Wait. This is a fair question to ask of schoolboard candidates, it might
not be easily answered, but is is fair game to ask. E. Quast's reply
sounds defeatist. Like, it is the way it is, so be it. Why bother
looking for answers. I don't agree. There are causes, and effects for
most things. To stop looking is not helpful.

E. Quast continues:

So, lacking parental involvement, what should we do? Not all kids will
have the opportunity to attend a place like SPA/Blake, what do we do
about them? The kids who's parents don't much care for book-learnin',
you seem to think they're out-of-luck? I think we need to get more
creative than this. Parental involvement is important, but all too
obvious. What next? Let's build something cool.
