Don't some neighborhoods or communities have a program where they "out" johns by running their license plate number and then sending them a notice "busting" them? I seem to recall when I lived in Chicago there was such a program. It was started in the hopes that men would think twice about cruising the streets for prostitutes because the owners of the cars being used (often times the man's spouse or boss, if he's driving a company car) would be sent a notice saying that the car was used to solicit prostitution.
I don't know how a city would go about starting such a program. But I think it's a pretty good idea. I'm of the mindset that when it comes to prostitution (and drugs, for that matter) as long as there's a demand, there will be a supply. In this case, a healthy dose of humiliation could go far to reducing demand.
So Scott, next time you're heading out to your garage to confront these people, I say bring a notebook and pen, go around to the front of the car, and write down the plate number under the guise that you're turning him to somewhere. We'll see how fast he hightails it out of there! And he'll probably think twice about using your garage again!
