Well, Terrell, if Ms. Heller won't introduce herself, perhaps she can be
partially defined by her living arrangement - in the very high rent district
known as North Oaks - St. Paul's tony northern suburb where most of the land
is still owned by the JJ Hill family and/or its trust. North Oaks was the
family estate until they subdivided section by section with land ownership
retained, but private homeowners owning houses on the land the lease from
the land trust.

This is not your average urban neighborhood. Whether the affluence required
for residence in that gated community influences Ms. Heller's views, I can't
say, but I certainly wonder often where her views are, in fact, rooted.

There are a few very conservative poor to low income citizens, but I don't
know any. Certainly the rhetoric contained would indicate that Ms. Heller's
views on the Minneapolis housing market while living in North Oaks reflect
possible ownership of a good deal of property on which she would pay the
non-homesteaded taxes of a typical absentee landlord. A personal interest in
how those taxes are affected by public participation in affordable housing
and publicly subsidized community and economic development might spawn such
a concern for the city finances of a person living elsewhere, wouldn't you
say?

Otherwise, I know nothing about her.
