I agree with Dore Mead on this one as well-- not only will it engender particular constituent ire, but it will psychologically and realistically hamper the current council from getting things done. Two years may seem like a long time but I feel it is not enough time for a council member to get things done--we'll end up judging them on literally half-baked projects and ideas rather than on the fully cooked schemes they've got planned for us.
