David et al, I am very new to the planning commission, and I am not as familiar to the proceedings as some, but the item on the Ace Hardware Store is the 12th & 13th items on the agenda. It would appear that stating the exact time would be difficult. But I would guess that it would be fairly early on, so I would say that folks should be there by about 4:45pm. It could be later, but probably not earlier. The meeting starts at 4:30. People wishing to speak should sign up outside the room. It looks like it will be in room 317.
The recommendation from staff on this is to deny the rezoning on the parcel, and to deny the variance. It would be good to hear how folks feel about this, as I have only the feedback from the Ace Hardware folks and the staff. How is this like and/or unlike the SA proposal on Lyndale a year or so ago?
