Here are the members: two City Council appointees Rick Stafford (DFL,
9th Ward, I think) and Fred Markus (Green, 10th Ward) and six members
elected by the Charter Commission last evening: Lyle Schwartzkopf (IR,
11th Ward), Michael Finch (IR, 13th Ward), Steve Claypatch (DFL, 4th
Ward), Everett Pettiford (DFL, 4th Ward), Todd Ferrara (Independence,
13th Ward), and Karen Collier (Independence, 13th Ward). We eight
members will meet on February 20 at 7:00 pm at Logan Park to elect our
chair, the ninth member.

If I'm correct, the Chair comes from the eight individuals - not an additional member. If I'm wrong, someone correct me, please.
