MEA CULPA!!!!

I apologize to Connie and Jeannine.  There were two women from the GOP.  Connie was there the same evening as I was, but Jennifer was not.  You are correct, Jordan Kushner did appear as a designee of the Green Party.  I was under the impression that the Greens did have a high enough percentage to be represented on the Commission.  However, the election that was used was not the most recent election, it was the major election prior to.  In that election they did not have enough.  When I went for the interviews I was fully expecting four or five individuals to be designees of the Green Party and, when that didn't happen, I was so surprised that I totally overlooked Jordan's name because the list showed him being self-nominated, and then the only "party-nominated" from the 5th District Greens.  Sorry about that Jordan.

There were a number of highly qualified females from the DFL who wanted to be on the Commission.  I'm sorry it didn't work out for either the DFL or the GOP to have a woman on the Commission.  I will publicly make the offer that if any of the women have a specific issue they wish to have considered, I will be more than happy to "carry the water."  I trust I will be able to represent all of you fairly.
