       I find this an all too common complaint by people in politics in these
parts. Confront a politician on the parts of their voting record that they'd prefer
to have swept under the carpet, and it's "negative campaigning." Subject someone's
opinions to careful examination and rebuttal, and you're accused of "ripping
them apart." If Mr. Brown had personally attacked you I could see where you
might have room to complain, but I am bemused by the notion that you should be
allowed to post your opinion and others should not be allowed to respond with
theirs.
