According to Councilmember Zimmerperson almost everyone should have much cleaner streets by tomorrow. PW did start plowing last night (towards the end of the blizzard) and do not do streets because cars are parked on them. If your street has cars in garages and no cars on the street it may have gotten a plow and they do start on the alleys and the snow emergency routes which are first today. But believe me, I live right behind where the plows pull out - they are revving up their engines and ready to hit the streets tonight. And I have found over the years these guys love their "toy" plows and get off on showing off how clean they can get the streets - they love their jobs and being able to use the big machines. But 1100 miles of streets can take a little bit of time. I suggest move your car and have some patience The spring Equinox is only 5 days away. And May Day is in six (6) weeks. Time flies when you are having fun - we did have a snow free winter - Mother Nature did want to remind of us of why we all live here. Any reports on the Michael Moore book event yet?
