What is to prevent the first offense pedophilia case from becoming a first offense murder case, then? Wouldn't that be the likely outcome? People who molest children have few qualms about killing them to shut them up--or about killing an adult, in the case of the child molester who killed Bobbie Holder (Bobbie was a member of our family, incidentally). I am all for incarcarating sexual predators, but I want a workable solution, and I don't think the "simple solution" above is it.
