Last week, as I often do, I ate at the Modern Cafe in NE Minneapolis. I
had the delicious pan-seared duck breast with the five-spice mashed
potatoes. For desert, I broke with habit by foregoing the chocolate creme
brulee and, instead, I opted for the lime cheesecake. Yummy!

Two weeks ago, my wife and I and another couple ate at the Malt Shop in
south Minneapolis. Of course, we all had malts. I particularly like their
peanut butter malts because they actually use peanut butter instead of
 peanut butter powder or flavoring.

Several weeks before that, I ate at King and I Thai. I had beef Pad Thai
while my wife had the coconut curry beef. Whooie! That was delicious.

Keith says; So sad, and so overlooked, that Scott could not go a couple
blocks north to West Broadway Av. N. to find a selection of eateries to visit
and enjoy "in the neighborhood". This main commercial corridor of the
Northwest Quadrant of MPLS. needs special attention and consideration from
our Mayor and City Council to create a normal and fulfilling destination for
people from all over the Metro area. How can we jump-start a commercial
corridor, and get it up to a reasonable level of commercial and civic
activity? The implications of the overlooked problems on this Avenue extend,
at least, throughout Henn. County. I expect no response from this list, but
that is E-Democracy inaction.
