But, the $10 million question is quasi-rhetorical, obviously political, and ultimately meant to outline general unfairness when we think about and look at funding priorities. Ultimately, it all comes down to the phrase "where there is a will there is a way." It seems the political will right now is to keep the Twins in Minneapolis, at a likely public cost to city residents of at least $10 million. Thus, we have found a way to find that $10 million and we have also spent thousands of hours and city resources to do it. My quasi-rhetorical question (and I hope others take up the $10 million challenge) is meant to question that priority and those resources when there are better priorities at hand. In other words, why can't we spend those same resources and generate political will on bigger priorities? So, I have another $10 million question:
Where's the $10 million to prevent further lead poisonings of children in the city?
