There is considerably more information about revenue sources for all
districts via the CFL website. There are two excellent publications
produced by legislative staff: FINANCING EDUCATION IN MINNESOTA 2001-2002,
produced by the Minnesota House of Representatives Fiscal Analysis
Department, and MINNESOTA SCHOOL FINANCE: A Guide for Legislators, produced
by the House Research Department. Both are available online:
www.house.leg.state.mn.us/hrd/hrd.htm.

I suspect the budget has not been posted because it is not prepared for
2002-2003 yet. I understand that the staff is evaluating the effects of the
various budget reduction recommendations in anticipation of sending the
sites their budget allocations for next year. Technically, the Board of
Education has until the end of June 2002 to approve the budget for
2002-2003. A "dead tree" copy of the 2001-2002 budget can be had from the
Budget Director's office.

Title I to follow.
