This post went out to several mailing lists. Just a reminder for anyone
who wants to follow up on the Minneapolis-Issues list: please make sure
your post focuses on pollution/polluters in the city of Minneapolis.

Decisions about pollution sources located within Minneapolis
neighborhoods, or Minneapolis hot spots (such as Downtown), are
perfectly appropriate to discuss here. Decisions by Minneapolis city
government are always ok to discuss here, as are Hennepin County
decisions about Minneapolis sources.

Decisions by larger government entities (especially state) are only
appropriate here if they have a specific identifiable local impact.

If you wish to discuss broader statewide policy & implications, please
go to our sibling list, Minnesota-Politics Discuss at
http://www.e-democracy.org.

Minnesota, its Pollution Control Agency and local governments refuse to
stop the polluters from killing us. And still they plop down refineries
in the middle of our neighborhoods and refuse to close them when they so
clearly threaten our lives.
