Sonja and everyone! I can tell you it is true. At least at my house. When I and my almost husband bought our house in December (only about 2-3 blocks from Sonja), light rail was a big factor. In fact, my almost husband made a map of the area he wanted to look at. On this map he marked a line one mile out around my mother's house (area to be avoided) and where all the light rail stations would be in S. Mpls. He has even said, 'Gee, if one us took LRT to work, we could get rid of one car.'
