Dear Commissioners: I want to thank those that have supported the Community Plan for redistricting in the City of Minneapolis and urge those that have not yet supported it, to take another very objective look.
This plan is truly a non-partisan plan. This plan is based on general community interests and not any political or incumbent agendas. I am aware that in the past that redistricting was a political party "war". I would hope that you would send a different message to the people in the City of Minneapolis. A message that the 2002 Redistricting Commissioners were more interested in the needs of the citizens of the City of Minneapolis being met than a few party powerfuls or city council incumbents. The Redistricting Commissioners' task will be over by the 30th of April. However, the people of Minneapolis will have to live with your decision for 10 years. Please make your decision one that shows your compassion for the City as a whole, not just a select few. Respectfully, Matthea Little Smith Powderhorn Park __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
