Also please show compassion for the residents of the
Fifth and Seventh Wards under the proposed NAACP plan,
neither of which would have any council representation
until January of 2006, fully One-Third of the way thru
the life of the new ward boundaries. It is
unimaginable to think that the Redistricting
Commission would consider disenfranchising the
residents of those neighborhoods, including Near
North.
