I am concerned about what this plan does to Loring Park -- which I think should be in the downtown ward. I am also concerned about putting Central into the 10th ward. It seems to me that 35W is a natural dividing line for the area. I'm also not particularly happy with the look of the 8th ward in the plan the redistricting commission drew up. In that plan, the 8th ward looks like a cross -- and in no way really represents a compact ward in the area.
