I greatly enjoy the service, food, and ambiance at the Loring Cafe. I
particularly enjoy eating in the alley cafe during the summer. The last
time I was there, I was having dinner with my wife in the alley while
someone was playing a saxophone from the roof of a neighboring building.
The live saxophone in the background provided for great ambiance.

While I would be disappointed with the Loring Cafe losing its lease, I
think the Loring Cafe could be recreated elsewhere. However, if the lease
owner thinks that I will patronize a new restaurant in that spot, forget
it. I find parking to be too much of a hassle for just any restaurant. The
Loring Cafe was sufficiently good that I was willing to put up with the
parking hassle. I do not patronize the Loring Cafe because of its
location, I patronize the Loring Cafe despite its location.
