I'm not a DFL delegate -- perish the thought. I'm active with the
Republican Party in Minneapolis. I personally don't think much of
candidates who blindly abide by DFL or Republican endorsement. I thought
Arne Carlson did the right thing by going against Republican Endorsement in
90 and 94 for example.

To me, that would be a plus. The DFL endorsement in the 8th ward went to
Brian Heron.

A Progressive Minnesota endorsement would be a minus for me, if I was
voting in this primary.

A broader group of people than delegates ought to make the decision about
who serves as legislator. I have not problems with Shreves deciding to run
in the primary. Lisa McDonald has done that historically and won
primaries, after losing DFL endorsement.

The voters of the 60th District deserve the chance to vote in a primary.

In the 61st District where the Republican Party endorsed Lucky Rosenbloom
-- which I happen to think was a big mistake.

What are some real reasons that delegates in the 60th district should vote
for Dibble over Shreves? Hopefully Dibble himself isn't using this
campaign pitch -- because it suggests he doesn't have real issues -- and I
know Scott Dibble and that isn't the case.
