Disclaimer: I am an undecided voter (and delegate) in the Senate District 60 race between Shreves and Dibble.

Hey that's cool, but the point is that both candidates have told delegates and the press they were abiding by endorsement....so if someone decides not to, they are changing their mind well into the contest....and that is interesting both for the decision and the switch... (Disclaimer....disclaimer....I'm not saying any switch has been made by any candidate.) > delegates ought to make the decision about > who serves as legislator. But again, if you believe that principle, don't start out running for endorsement and then abandon it....then it only looks self-interested, not principled. What other pledge will they abandon? > What are some real reasons that delegates in the 60th district should vote > for Dibble over Shreves? I have talked to both candidates (though Catherine only briefly) and they are running substantive campaigns (Scott especially has a fondness for policy detail requiring bifocal-busting fine print...) There is plenty of issue overlap so the contest also turns on who will be the most effective legislator - who can best fight for education funding, more affordable housing, etc. and get Republican and suburban votes to make policy a reality. It's great to have this choice. And all hot-button endorsement questions aside...I'd love to see more honest debate on whether Catherine or Scott would be a better choice. Anyway, just because a candidate (or their supporters) raises the endorsement issue doesn't mean they lack any other issues. As Eva eventually acknowledges.
