Is the list too powerful? Who's to say, but it is fun to think it might be. As this story unfolded over the week+, I kept thinking that this was the issue that could have really given Mr. Grow column fodder. The overall tenor regarding Chief Olson on this list vs. various residents/friends I talked to who are not subscribers, and the vast majority of public input the Councilmembers say they received, were rather disparate. The Dairy Queen issue was pretty even steven on the list, while support for the Chief staying put, and there was some, was pretty sparse. As a subscriber and reader of list posts, and with the knowledge that the subscribers cover the political gamut, I could see how one might potentially get a skewed view of the citizenry's prevailing opinion. Theoretically, of course. I love the smell of politics in the morning... it smells like victory (or is it teen spirit?). richard carney st. paul (recycling old lines from posts, but no plastic bottle curbside pickup) I HATE THE SNOW _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A Civil City Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
