Vicky Heller asks:

Where might listmembers obtain a list of the above referenced properties
and/or borrowers?

One listmember called the MCDA to request a list of "current projects"
but was told to "attend the City Council meetings" to find out.

The Minnesota Data Practices Act requires the MCDA to disclose this
information. I believe Mr. Ruben Acosta is the designated MCDA employee
responsible for complying with requests for public information.

Please let the Minneapolis Forum listmembers know how to find out who
got the money and what was done with it.

Listmembers who are unfamiliar with the MCDA website (www.mcda.org) may
not be aware the information on acquisitions, dispositions, home
improvement loans, residential mortgages is available online selectable
date and sortable by neighborhood and ward. Just click the "Database"
link. Also available is the MCDA property inventory and a separate
inventory of vacant lots that are available for sale.

Not available online, of course, is any information that state law
prohibits us from disclosing. Victoria Heller has correctly identified
the staff attorney who has as one of his responsiblities the task of
monitoring our compliance.

David, do I get two messages daily per hat?
